PhD topic: Integrating LLM in Social Media Data for Decision-making of Self-Driving Vehicles in Disastrous Environments and Blocked Routes

Samia Abid is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Hull, UK, focusing on social media-based decision-making in disaster environments. She is the recipient of a Fully Funded Ph.D. Scholarship offer from the University of Hull, United Kingdom (UK). Prior to her doctoral studies, Samia received her M.S. degree from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2017, specializing in energy management of smart grids. She also holds a position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Hull, where she contributes to the academic community through her expertise and dedication to education. Her research interests include but are not limited to, smart transportation, energy management of smart grids, natural language processing, and optimization techniques.​
